Does wine have to be intimidating? Here at Sendik's, we don't think so! We believe that the best cure for the intimidation factor is knowledge, and our wine classes are designed to expand one's knowledge while being informal, relaxed, and entertaining. Our goal is for all to see wine for what it truly is—endlessly fascinating, utterly tantalizing, and deserving of a place at every dinner table! Classes are led by Collin Mayer, our Wine and Spirits Manager and Wine Buyer, who may focus upon a single varietal or style, a region or country, a winery, or anyone of a host of other themes. The cost for each class is $40.00 per person. All classes are held in the Wine & Spirits Department and begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Hot and/or cold hors d'oeuvres, artisanal cheese pairings and assorted breads and crackers are included in the cost of each class. Attendees will be able to purchase wines from the classes at exclusive discounted prices.
