Grilled Mahi Mahi Tacos - Sendik's Fine Foods

We Have What You'll Need:

  • Mahi Mahi Fillets cut them into 1 ½ inch strips
  • Smoked Paprika, Garlic powder, Salt, Ground Cumin, Dry Cilantro, and black pepper. 
  • For the Chipotle Lime Crema- Plain Greek Yogurt, Chipotle Pepper, Garlic powder, Smoked Paprika, Lime Juice, Salt. 
  • For the Cabbage Slaw- Purple Cabbage thinly sliced, Fresh Lime Juice, Fresh Cilantro, and salt. 
  • For the Mashed Avocado- Avocados seeded, peeled and mashed, Fresh Lime juice, Salt. Make Spice Rub: Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, cumin, cilantro and black pepper into a small bowl and mix everything together. 
  • Season Mahi Mahi: Pat the Mahi Mahi dry and rub the spice mixture on all sides of the fish. Set the seasoned mahi mahi aside for now. 
  • Make the Chipotle Crema- Add the Greek yogurt, garlic powder, chipotle pepper, smoked paprika, lime juice, and salt to the food processor. Pulse everything until it is well combined. 
  • Cabbage Slaw: Combine the cabbage, Cilantro, Lime Juice, and salt in a mixing bowl and stir until everything is mixed.  Avocado mash- Mix the lime juice and salt into the mashed avocado.

Directions

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Add your prepared mahi mahi to the grill. Cook each side for about 2-3 minutes. Once it is seared on both sides it is ready. Select your choice of tortillas and add your toppings.
